Dr. Raviv was honored to be part of the international faculty at the annual conference of the Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society.

While not quite the same as prior years, when Dr. Raviv participated in person, the virtual symposium brought together faculty and surgeons from around the globe for the 2 day conference Sept 19-20, 2020.

Topics included approaches to challenging and complex cataracts, with the latest techniques and teachings from around the world.

Dr. Raviv was honored to present, with his U.S. and International colleagues (virtually), at this year’s Ophthalmology Technology Summit, a meeting geared to highlighting startups, new products, and the future of ophthalmology innovation.

In these challenging times, many things shifted online. We can’t do a cataract surgery virtually (yet), but Dr. Raviv was honored to be among the faculty for this year’s Virtual ASCRS (American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery) meeting.
Surgeons from around the world joined in learning and discussing the latest in cataract surgery.

Dr. Raviv was honored to join international colleagues in a virtual complex cataract symposium sponsored by the Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society of India (IIRSI).

In these unprecedented COVID19 times, as cataract surgeons around the world await the return to the operating room (ie cataract surgery is considered “elective”, not urgent), virtual education has made the world smaller and maintained our focus.

Tune in at 4:52 for Dr. Raviv’s presentation on the fragile posterior capsule.
